Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the ELIT mobile application or website ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ELIT is a platform that allows users to:

• Browse and book football pitches at participating venues
• Participate in organized football sessions and tournaments
• Track personal performance statistics and ELO rankings
• Connect and compete with other players

Field availability, pricing, and venue conditions are set by individual venue operators. ELIT acts as a booking facilitator and is not the owner or operator of any physical football facility.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your password confidential and secure
• Be at least 16 years of age
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Bookings and Payments

When you book a pitch through ELIT:

• Payment is processed securely at the time of booking via Stripe
• Pitch prices are displayed in your local currency before confirmation
• A booking confirmation will be sent to your registered email
• ELIT charges a small platform fee per booking, displayed at checkout

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 24 hours before session: Full refund to original payment method within 5–10 business days
• Between 12–24 hours before session: 50% refund
• Less than 12 hours before session: No refund
• Venue cancellation: Full refund regardless of notice period

Refund requests must be submitted through the app or by contacting us at hello@elitsoccer.app.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to manipulate rankings or statistics
• Resell or transfer bookings without authorization

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the ELIT platform — including logos, graphics, text, and software — is the property of ELIT and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ELIT is not liable for:

• Physical injury or property damage occurring at booked venues
• Venue cancellations or changes outside our control
• Loss of data or interruption of service
• Actions or conduct of other users

Participation in football activities carries inherent risk. Users participate at their own risk.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
